this is my repeat pattern using photoshop, i designed the leafs from a brush and saved it as a stamp. using the stamp i put 4 in a block pattern and cut it down and saved it as a pattern. using the paint bucket i filled the whole page with my pattern.
this was a pattern i made with my another one of my stamps, i just used a square stamp and changed the size and colour onto a coloured background to end up with this result.
this pattern i made i really like, i made a stamp of a tree and then repeat patterned it into many different sizes and colours and started to over lap them in places to end up with this.
this repeat pattern i also like. Again i changed the sizes and colour to end up with this but i gave a half drop effect to it.

Well done Hayley, you've had some really successful outcomes on Photoshop. Now you can start developing your motif into a repeated pattern. You could photograph it (finished motif) and scan the image in to use on the computer or develop it in a new direction from drawings on paper or directly onto photoshop. The 'paper cut' type images that you had the other day looked really exciting and another artist to look at who works in that way is Rob Ryan.
